 Since we were already on an
older computer system that we had outgrown a few years back, it meant that we
had to transfer all of our records and databases in the new computer and that
all of our employee had to learn and adapt to the new system.
We were
able to accomplish this in an expedited manner thanks to Rindy and her support
staff. We received intensive training for our staff in a couple of weeks, and
once we uploaded the new system, we were able to proceed with business as
usual.

We signed on with ADS in 1994,
primarily in response to the growing demand for EDI compliance. As our business
had grown and changed, we also felt the need to tighten our internal controls,
and to analyze data faster, so that we could direct our customers properly on
merchandising issues. After speaking with a number of customers, and researching
the software market extensively, we decided that ADS could best meet our needs.
In retrospect, I can clearly see that our switch to ADS was an excellent
decision, We found that the transition was smooth, mainly due to the support of
the ADS highly trained staff. We found that the UPC and QRS/NRF capabilities,
pick/pack scanning and base of EDI retail trading partners that ADS had to offer
enabled us to easily satisfy our customers requirements, while keeping a firm

Just wanted to drop you a note
regarding our recent upgrade to ADS System 9001 version 4.5.8. All things
considered it went quite well.
I say all things considered, since we
installed a new RISC6000 F50 Model 7025 simultaneously and were up and running
if five hours with only some minor glitches. With three sites in our WAN
configuration, and a mix of PC’s (from DOS to WIN3X and WIN98), terminals and
remote printers, one would have expected more complications then we
encountered.
We are looking forward to implementing some of the new
modifications we purchased and implementing the y2k EDI maps. Please pass my
complements on to all of your staff who worked so hard ... " |

and I agreed to proceed with your proposal for a brand new computer system. As
you recall, you were not the least expensive system for our needs however we
felt the best relative to your competition. We were not a large company and were

going with a proper long term investment that would allow us to grow our
business significantly without having to re-visit the computer situation. We're
